Having overcome many challenges in my own life, I've been blessed with a rich combination of knowledge, education, wisdom, skills and spirituality, that I utilize in every aspect of my work.  As a result, I also possess a genuine and empathetic presence that helps people feel immediately at ease. Each therapeutic relationship is unique, meaningful and heartfelt. I am direct, yet gentle in my approach and draw upon my spirituality and intuition to guide the sessions, as well as utilize focused questions that help the client empower themselves to find their own answers. I am a Christian and enjoy working with other believers but am respectful of all Spiritual beliefs. Currently, I am only working with children ages 4-17 doing play therapy, art therapy and parent/child therapy, which I have found extremely effective in overcoming a variety of challenges. I possess a current California License in Marriage and Family Therapy and hold a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Phillips Graduate Institute in Encino, California.  My Master’s Thesis was on incorporating Spirituality into Therapy.  I studied Life Coaching at the accredited school of The Institute for Life Coaching and have been continuously researching topics such as mental health, communication, success, happiness, life purpose, fulfillment and spirituality for over 25 years.  I look forward to supporting you and empowering you child to look within, giving them confidence and trust in themselves to utilize the necessary coping skills learned in therapy in order to be independent and successful in their lives.
